Uploading Ebooks Follow
You may wish to store the files for your Ebooks on Stison, either for ease of access, or with the intention of setting up an Ebook feed.
You can upload them either manually, or via bulk upload.
If you wish send your ebooks from Stison, then you must use our Asset Sections in order to group these Ebooks together. Find our guidance on this here.
Uploading Ebooks Manually
1. Navigate to the Media Tab in your titles record in Title Management. Make sure that you select the Ebook format.
2. Under the 'Other Assets' heading, select 'Upload'. The following pop up will appear:
3. Either drag and drop the files onto the upload screen or click Browse and find the files on your computer.
4. Select Start Upload and the files will upload to the system. Please note that if you are uploading a PDF, it needs to have the extension .pdf. It will not read .pdfs.
5. Once loaded, select the empty space beneath 'Section':
6. This will allow you to assign this file to an Asset Section. In this instance, select the asset section that you have created for your Ebooks.
7. For more information on the further detail that you can specify in this section, please see here.
Uploading Ebooks in Bulk
If you have a large number of Ebooks that you would like to upload, and therefore need to do this in bulk, you can do this from the 'Asset Management' section of the Stison menu.
N.B: In order for Stison to match the files uploaded to the relevant products, the file name for the Ebook MUST be the ISBN of the product.
1. Navigate to Asset Management --> Cover Upload (this is a misnomer - you can upload more than just cover images here).
2. Here, you can select 'Upload files' and drag the relevant files into the pop up. Or you can select 'Browse' and find the files on your machine. Alternatively, you can upload a ZIP file.
3. If you have chosen to upload a ZIP file, make sure to select 'Update. Your files will now upload.
4. Please note that you will have to go into each title and assign the Ebook file to the Ebook Asset Section if you wish to send your Ebooks from Stison.
