The Marketing Tab Follow
This is a part of the system where you can store a wide range of details related to the possible elements of a title's marketing campaign. The Marketing tab has 6 sub-tabs that break down the most likely elements of a campaign, from publicity to sales presentations, to retailer promotions, to advertising campaigns, to conferences where the title has been presented. None of the information here is mandatory; how you use it is up to your organisation.
Please note that the 'Report' tab, located at the end, is a static page that pulls in the information that you added from the other 5 sub tabs.
In the Publicity / Press sub-tab, you can record Contracted and Internal Publicity Campaigns, Press Kits, and Author, Review and Bookshop copies sent.
To record Organisation Contacts against Copies Sent, using the drop down menu, you must first configure this within the Organisation Admin, as shown here:
Alternatively, select 'Other' from the drop down menu, and a text field will appear, allowing you to manually enter the Organisation Contact name.
Don't forget to click the blue Update button located at the bottom of each sub tab in order to ensure that whatever information you have added is saved on the system.
