Add localised data Follow
The Stison Title Management system enables you to store and use territory-specific data, such as on-sale dates, and descriptions for your AIs and ONIX feeds specific to different regions. Here we will show you how to add and distribute this information through your system.
Before You Can Add Localised Data in Title Management:
First, you need to add the territory to your system. In the example below, we will be showing you how to set up localised data for North America from an organisation based in Britain.
You can see in the following screenshot, we've set up North and South America territories separately.
In order for the territory to be available in the localised data drop-down menus in various parts the system, you need to make sure that the following item circled below in red is ticked:
Click update when you are finished. Your territory is now ready to use.
Presumably you've already added all of your various suppliers to the system. If you have not, you can do this through organisation admin. You will use this information when localising on sale dates.
Allocating Localised Data in a Title Record:
You are now ready to start adding localised data.
Blurbs Tab:
Here is where you will be able to add text related to a specific market/territory.
When you navigate over to the Blurbs tab, you can find the localised information has been placed beside the first Description sub-tab, as shown in the purple circle below.
It is also possible to incorporate descriptions that are in different languages. You will also do this within the Blurbs tab in Title Management. For clarity, you can input a translated description, and mark the language that it has been translated into. Stison cannot do the translation for you.
In the following example, the main description has been translated into French and German, and those descriptions are now going out in their ONIX feeds.
To add a description click the Edit icon, circled above in red. You will be taken to the following screen, where you will click onto the small world icon in the right-hand corner, which we have marked with a purple circle. It will then expand the screen to include the field: Language.
The drop-down menu will then enable you to allocate the relevant language. Please note that you will need to email helpdesk@stison.com if you would like specific languages added to this drop-down list.
When you click on the blue Update button, your screen will then add the new description as a tab of its own:
Sending Localised Data in ONIX:
With this information in place as discussed above, you are now ready to set up an automated feed for the data aggregator in your relevant market.
Here is information about how to set up a destination for automated feeds.
Once you've set up the feed, navigate to the Options tab within it. In the following screenshot, you can see where we've specified the territory for this particular feed:
If you have also integrated translated descriptions, then you will want to access the Filters tab and tick Selected Languages as circled below. The screen will expand to show you the drop-down menu to choose the language from.
Click Update when you are done.
