Bulk Uploading Localised Main Descriptions Follow
The Stison Title Management system enables you to store and use territory-specific data, such as on-sale dates, and descriptions for your AIs and ONIX feeds specific to different regions. For a detailed guide on how to add localised data to your system, click here.
An example of this is descriptive text in the Blurbs Tab. As with other kinds of descriptive text, you have the ability to upload localised main descriptions in bulk to your title records. These will be uploaded to the relevant sub-tabs next to the Description heading in the Blurbs tab. It is important to note that currently, you can only upload Main Description text types to your localised text fields in bulk.
When you prepare your spreadsheet, make sure that each localised main description has its own separate column.
Make sure your columns are correctly mapped before uploading. Every territory that has the Show as Localisation box checked will show as a mappable column heading option underneath the Descriptions - Custom menu item.
For more detailed guidance on the general bulk upload process, click here.
Once you have mapped your columns, press the blue Process File button. You will now be able to view each localised main description within the Blurbs Tab of your title record.
Important Note: when uploading any kind of descriptive text to the Blurbs Tab, the upload will overwrite what is currently in the tab. This means that if your spreadsheet contains a localised main description that is different to the one that already sits within the localised text sub-tab, the text in your spreadsheet will replace the data within Stison upon upload. If you already have localised main descriptions in the system and you would like to add additional localised main descriptions, you will have to do so manually.
