Advanced Information Sheets: What Templates Are Available

An Advanced Information sheet (AI) is a marketing document designed to promote forthcoming books to external partners in the industry, before their release. It includes essential information such as title and subtitle, contributor information, reviews, and so on.

In Stison, you have the ability to generate AI's quickly and easily.

We have a number of free templates available to use, and this article will take you through the information included in, and the styling of, each template.

The functionality here is as good as the data behind it. That is to say that the generation of a complete Advanced Information sheet requires complete, rich metadata in your title record.

What information can I include in my Advanced Information Sheet?

All of our Advanced Information templates pull from the data held in Title Manager. There is variance between the templates, with for example, some templates including series information, and others not. See below for further detail on what is included in each template.

You also have the ability to 'toggle' certain information on or off of your Advanced Information Sheet. Say, for example, you are using AI Standard 1, but in this instance, you do not want the short description on your sheet, you can de-select that field. You can do this using the Advanced Editor, our guidance on which can be found here.

What information is included in each template, and therefore what information can be 'toggled' on or off of your sheet, with depend on the template used.
