The Related Tab - Title Manager Follow
The Related Tab is where you can link books related to your title that do not share a title or a Stison-created Content ID, for example, special editions, other language versions, similar products, etc:
Within this tab, you can also choose whether you would like the related titles/products you identify to be sent via ONIX feed or included in AI sheets. To choose one, or both, click on their respective boxes.
Choose the Relation Code type from the drop-down menu and add the Title of the related item. You can choose the related title from your list by clicking on the looking glass icon and searching. Alternatively, if the related title is not your product, click on not our product and manually type in the ISBN of the external related title.
To remove a related title, click on the bin symbol.
To add another click on Add another book.
If your title was already entered as related to another title, you will be able to see it on the Other Related Books Referencing This Title list. Clicking on the note symbol at the end of the row will take you directly to the title your book is related to on the system (if it exists in Title Manager). Other forms of the title, which share a Content ID will also appear here.
Click Update when you are finished adding your related titles/products.
Note that titles sharing the same Stison-created Content IDs (IDs shared across title forms) are automatically sent through as "related titles" to ONIX.
Can I bulk upload this data via spreadsheet?
You can bulk upload related title information via spreadsheet to Stison. When creating your spreadsheet, you will need to include information relating to the ISBN you're uploading the related product to, the product relation code, and the ISBN of the related item. The column headers should then be: ISBN, Product Relation Code, and Related Product, as shown below.
Product Relations Codes determine the kind of relation between two titles, such as adapted from, has related teacher material, has alternative in a different market sector, etc. When bulk uploading, consult the ONIX codelist to identify the correct code.
