Establishing the Rights Held

Another mandatory item for your bibliographic fields is the Rights that you hold to sell the title. This is not about where you've sold rights for a title (as in to another publishing company) - instead, this is about where in the world you have the rights to sell this particular ISBN.

1. Navigate over to the Rights tab within the title's record. You will be taken to this screen:

In the screenshot above, we have shown you the most common Rights held for a title - World Rights. But you may have a title that you can sell everywhere BUT a particular country. Following is a screen shot that reflects how to do this.

As you can see in the example above, we've first stated that the title is 06 - Not for sale in the specified country - United States. We then clicked on 'add another sales rights restriction' in order to provide space to establish where the rights are held - in this ROW - Rest of World.

When you are finished adding the information, click on the blue Update button so your work is saved. You are now ready to move onto: Categorising Your Title.
