Expanding Contact Information Follow
Clicking on a contact from your main Contact page will take you to a new screen where you can edit your contact:
There are 5 tabs in this section. The first one: General, is explained in Create or Edit a New Contact. Here you can change the details you have already entered. When you are finished, click on the Update button.
There are also further tabs available within the contact's record, which we will explain briefly in turn.
Books:
This tab will be present if you've added this contact as a contributor. Here you can see all the books related to the contributor, including the books that are in Title Management, and any in Editorial. You can see all the Chapters as well.
Orders:
Please note that this information is filtered through here from within the Sales/Royalties module if you have it. In this tab, you can see the list of all the Orders related to the contact. You can search for an order by typing the relevant details into the search bar. You can also set the dates for when the order was made.
Here you can also Download Details about the orders, as well as the Sales Report, All Sales Report and Pending Orders as CSV documents.
Clicking on Create New will take you to the Site Admin section. The Orders tab is where you can enter the details regarding your new order. By clicking on Show Cancelled, you will see only cancelled orders on the list. By clicking back to Show Active, only active orders will be visible on the list.
Royalties:
This tab is particularly important when you are using Stison's Royalties Manager module. If you have added a contributor or a retailer/organisation to your system, then this tab will be of particular interest. Here you can add information such as a minimum payment, tax details, withholding rates, etc.
Contracts:
In this tab is where you can see the list of all rights contracts related to the contact you are editing. Please note that this is relevant to contact you've added to the system as contributors.
You can search for a contract through the search box or you can apply Advanced filters:
You can apply different Date filters, ISBNs, Foreign Titles.
Tick the relevant boxes for Rights Type, Agreement Type, Status, Reverted and Company. You can search by Rights Available. Just tick the correct boxes for Country, Territory and Language.
Similarly, you can then tick the relevant boxes for Rights Sold: Country, Territory and Language
Click on the Columns button to customise your columns and select which columns you want to see:
Choose from the drop down menu. You can add as many columns as you wish by clicking Add another column. To delete a column, just click on the bin symbol.
Events:
This tab will be present if you've added this contact as a contributor and you are using Stison's Web Manager.
When you click on Create New, you will be taken to the relevant part of the Web Manager module.
Rights Options:
Clicking on the Rights Options tab will take you to the following screen:
Here you can see all rights related to the contact you are editing: a list of all the titles with all the related information will be displayed. You can search the list by typing in a title, or you can apply Advanced Filters.
You can Download a Rights Options document. Choose your preferred format by clicking on the symbol in front of the Download button.
Clicking on a title on the list will take you to Rights Manager --> Rights Options, where you can see and/or edit all of the info.
Clicking on the Create New button will take you to the Rights manager --> Rights Options section where you can create new Rights Options.
Revenue:
Here is where the system will work out the revenue made by a contributor against any liabilities/costs, pulling in the information from your Royalties Manager module.
