Book Production - Main Screen

The Book Production area is intended to help manage tasks, be them editorial, production or printing tasks within the production of a title. When you enter the production list, it will generally be empty.

You can add titles from Title Manager & Pre-Production by searching for a keyword & then clicking on the expand search button that comes up when you click Go.

The first search will only search Production Manager. The expanded search will look at Title Manager & Pre-Production for titles/authors that match the required search condition.

Once you have saved a schedule, the title will show in production.

Selecting Book Production from the main Production menu will take you to the following screen:

Here you can see the list of all of the projects currently in production.

You can search for a title by typing the whole title or a relevant word into the search box. You can filter the list by Imprints, Titles, Designers or Editors - just select from the drop-down menus. 

Clicking on Show Archived will enable you to see the list of archived projects. To go back to the main list, click on Show Active. 

To remove a title, click on a box in front of the title you wish to remove and click on Remove Selected.

To edit a project/schedule, click on the title you want to work on and you will be taken to the edit area.
