Uploading Titles with an Onix File Follow
You can upload titles in bulk by using an Onix file, by using an Excel spread sheet or by using a CSV file. This page details how to upload data using an onix file, for information on Uploading via Excel or CSV follow the link.
To upload an Onix file you will need to navigate to the Onix / Dest. menu and then choose the Upload Onix option. You will arrive at the following screen.
Before you upload your Onix file, you will need to ensure that the Header information in the file you have been sent is correctly set. The Organisation name must equal the organisation name in Stison.
You can look at the Onix file in any text editing software. For Onix 2.1 you are looking for the record entry labelled FromCompany or the short code m174 this will be in the first part of the file. Alternatively in Onix 3.0 you will be looking for the Sender composite, and then field labelled SenderName or short code x298 See the examples below.

Click on the Choose File button and you will be prompted to select the file from the location that it is stored on your local machine.
Ensure that the input type is set to Onix and then click on Update. The file will then be ingested into the system and it will be processed accordingly. Please note that this may take some time and you may see a blank screen initially.
It is important to point out that Onix uploads are destructive; this means that if you are updating a record in the system - it will remove the existing record and replace it with the one in the file.
