Destination Reports Follow
When setting up regularly emailed reports, there are a variety of in-built templates that you can choose from. These will become available to you when you select "Report" as the destination task. You can find our guidance on setting up regularly emailed reports here.
This article will take you through what information is included in each of these reports.
Pre-Flight
The ONIX Pre-Flight function checks the quality of the metadata across all of your titles in Title Manager. In instances where data does not meet mandatory or best practise requirements, the pre-flight will flag the error and direct you to the part of the system where it needs to be amended.
By selecting this option from the Report dropdown menu, you can view a Pre-flight report on a regular basis. This report will scan all of the titles that you have set to be included in your ONIX feeds and will email you the results.
Audit Report
This is a list of all of the changes that have been made to titles in your system. By default, this report will show all of the changes that have been within the last week on the system. The report will be sent as a downloadable Excel file, which will be formatted like the following:
Pub Schedule
This produces a list of all titles that are yet to be published as of the date that the report was run. This report is an automated version of the Pub Schedule report that can be accessed from the main Reports menu, and will be sent as a downloadable Excel file that shows the ISBN, Pub date, Work Sort Title, Series, No. in Series, Author, Imprint, Binding (format), UK List Price, EU List Price, US List Price, and the Main Description.
Fields that have recently been updated will be highlighted in red, as shown below:
Production Schedule
This report is an automated version of the Breakdown report from the Production module. The breakdown report provides a summary of tasks yet to be completed on titles within your Production module. It will be sent to the chosen email address like so:
XSLT Reports
There are also a variety of destination reports that have the XLST label. These templates have been built to provide options for customisable reports that can be set up within an automated feed.
In order to customise a destination report with the XSLT label, navigate to General > XSLT admin. Search for the report template that you would like to edit and download it from the list by pressing the icon next to the title. Once you have made your edits, reupload the template into XSLT Admin. You will then be able to set up your new report as an automated feed.
