Your Organisation on the Stison System

You can check and ensure that your organisation is correctly configured on your Stison Title Manager module. It should be noted that this section makes global changes to your system and therefore care should be taken when working on this section.

This area is within: General -> Configuration. Edit your configuration by clicking onto your company's name.

You will be taken to the first tab.

Title Management:

• Site Name: DO NOT CHANGE
• Admin URL: DO NOT CHANGE 
• Image URL: DO NOT CHANGE
• External Image URL: DO NOT CHANGE
• Image Protocol: DO NOT CHANGE
• Default Currency: The base currency that you work in, eg GBP for UK, USD for US, CAN for Canada, etc.
• Default Language: The default language your titles are published in - note you can change this on individual titles too without changing the default language on your whole system. 
• Default City of Publication: The default city that your titles are published in - note you can change this on individual titles too. 
• Default Country of Publication: The default country that your title is published in - note you can change this on individual titles too. 
• Default Contributor Type: This is the main contributor type that you use, ie By (author) or Illustrator. Feel free to leave this one as 'none'.
• Default Publisher: Your company's name.
• Default Imprint: The default imprint you publish with. If you do not have separate imprints, then this field should have your company's name.
• Default Supplier: This is the default supplier you use for distribution of your titles. If you self publish, you will need to set this to your own organisation. Please note - in order to have this information ready when you configure your organisation onto the Stison system, you must have first added the distributor within Contacts - Orgnisation Admin. 
• Default Digital Supplier: If you use a separate company for digital distribution of your titles, then set your default digital supplier here.
• Default Measure Unit: Are your titles measured in inches or millimetres?
• Default Weight Unit : As above, choose the option that best suits your organisation.
• Onix: Do you want to view only an availability code or the more recommended Publishing Status and Availability?
• Stock: Check this box if you wish to include stock numbers in your Onix feeds.
• Returns: Checking this box will add returns restrictions to your supply records.
• Amazon URL: Which of Amazon's many sites do you wish to use as your default for reviewing your titles on Amazon? You can select that here.
