What is Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)?
We're introducing Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) across the Stison platform to give your account an extra layer of protection. In addition to your password, you'll be asked to verify your identity using a one-time code sent to your device when you log-in.
How do I set up 2FA in Stison?
Stison will prompt you to set up 2FA once this has option been turned on for your organisation. If you would like us to enable this for your organisation, please contact helpdesk@stison.com.
You will then be required to use a One-Time Password (OTP) app, on a separate device, which you will pair with your Stison account. See below for our recommended OTP apps. The device from which you will receive your OTP should only be accessible to you and should be with you at all times.
Stison will prompt you to scan a QR code (or enter a key manually) in your OTP app, which will allow you to pair the app with your account.
Once your 2FA and OTP have been set up, a generated code will be sent to your device (on the OTP app) when you log in with your username and password.
