My Tasks Follow
One of the key functions of the Production module is the ability to assign tasks to members of the production department.
As a production staff member, you may have tasks assigned across multiple projects at any given time, and as such, having a clear overview of the tasks that you are responsible for is essential.
The 'My Tasks' report provides just that, as well as allowing production managers to take a look at all of the tasks that are currently being worked on across their team.
When you select 'My Tasks' from the Production menu, you will at first see this screen:
Firstly, set the filters that you would like to apply. The available filters are:
- Date Range
- Staff
- Commissioning Editor
- Editor
- Task
- Type
- Status
You can access further filters, and decide what date you would like to be used as the organising date, as well as how you would like your report ordered, by selecting the Blue Chevrons below the filters:
- Controller
- Designer
- Series
- Imprint
Finally, select whether you would like to see only 'My Tasks' or 'All Tasks'. The item highlighted in green is the one that is currently selected. Selecting either of these will run the report. If you are not changing the selection, you can select 'Submit' instead.
Your report will look something like this:
In the 'Task' column, you can select the post-it-note symbol to view any notes that have been recorded against a task.
You can also select the title that the task sits on, and you will be taken to that record within Production.
