Adding an Issue to a Journal

Although you can locate the books tab within Journals & Collection, you will need to navigate to the Books page to create an issue and corresponding volume for your journal. 

In Books, you will create an issue as you would a new title, selecting "Create New."

On this page, rather than having the content type set as "Content/ Book," you will want to select "Issue." Once you've selected issue, you will be able to add in the volume and issue number.

You will link this particular issue to its corresponding journal by selecting the journal title from within the Source/ Parent field.

After the issue has been created, navigate back to Journals & Collection. From within your journal, choose the books tab. Here, you will be able to search and select the issue you've just created and add it to your journal.
