Linking Works Together

You may have set up a work for each edition of a title that you make. This may be the case if you have used works to link formats that cannot be merged in title manager. For more on what works are, and why they might be useful, see here. 

If you have 3 separate editions that have all come from the same IP, you may wish to express this relation within the List of Works function. This can be done by using the 'Related' tab within a work. The end result is a relationship map explaining how these works fit together:

These labels are hyperlinks, and if you select them they will take you to that work.

To create these links, navigate to your Work, and open up the Related tab.

 

From here, you can specify what other works this work relates to, and how. Note, you will not need to do this in the 'parent' work, but only on the subsequent editions. 

Below, we have specified that this work is a second edition of the work 'First edition 08'.
