Splitting titles affecting P&L functionality

Request Summary:
We are publishing a few books that will be new in paperback next year. In order to add new fields in the blurbs tab, we have been advised to split the product in order to make a new record for the paperback. The problem here is that splitting the product means the P&L also splits, making this important functionality redundant. We will need to feed out our information within the next month or so, so please let us know if this is something that could be addressed.
Description/Use Cases:
This will allow publishers to be able to generate new formats with an autonomous blurb under a title ID field without impacting the P&L functionality. Without it we cannot reasonably create new formats within Stison.
Impact of limitation or missing feature:
Our new in paperback titles cannot have unique blurbs in order to sell them in properly, because we need to use the P&L functionality.

Would it be possible to add "Work" as a selection criteria here, along with "Author" and "Title", and then show the individual title P&Ls below?
I use "Work" to associate titles where I have split forms for descriptive content reasons.
The Work screen does show total costs and total revenue for each form -- not a full worked P&L but better than nothing.
