I’ve added a grant and taken a look at the P&L – it’s a little confusing

The grant should appear in the income, rather than listed with the expenses: and if it’s going to be with expenses it should be clear that it’s negative compared to the actual expenses!

I suppose at a basic level: a grant is revenue, so it would make most sense to have it with sales, rather than with expenses.
