Tick box for Priority titles so they can be seen on reports
AnsweredWe would like a tick box which, when ticked, meant that that title was identified in some way on our Production Report - either via a field appearing on that report or automatically highlighting that title.

Hi Laura Esslemont,
The development team have taken a look at your request, and there are a few areas that they'd like to know a bit more about.
Firstly, which reports would you like this 'priority title' highlighting to appear on?
Secondly, what sort of 'highlighting' did you have in mind. For example, would you like the title to be highlighted in red, or have a checkbox or other symbol next to it?
Thirdly, would this 'priority' status be held against a production schedule, or against individual titles which could be on any schedule?
Finally, is this priority 'flag' set by task status or simply against titles? Ie are there particular titles that by their nature are priority, or is the priority flag related to eg titles that have tasks behind schedule?
Many thanks,
Sophie

Sorry, I didn't see the questions!
Ideally we'd like the ability to highlight priority titles appearing on our Production Report (run via Production/Reports/Production Schedule).
We aren't too bothered how the title is highlighted - whichever is easiest, either highlighted in a colour, or a column with a symbol it (like a big bold P).
The priority status would be held against a title.
I think the above answer covers this, but yes the priority status is held against the title not the task/ schedules.
Thanks,
Laura

Hi Laura Esslemont,
Thank you for providing this extra detail. The ability to indicate that a title is a 'priority', or of a particular status, is the intended purpose of the Status feature in Production. At the moment, I see that you have statuses of Ahead of Schedule, Crash Schedule and Late Handover. We would generally recommend that if you wish to flag a title as priority, you would reflect this in the status of the title. For example, setting a status of 'priority title', that you then assign to priority projects. You can then filter by Production Status in reporting.
Do let me know if this would achieve what you're looking for.
Best wishes,
Sophie
