Once you have created a new Title in the Pre-Production system then you will want to begin to add more information to enable you to track the title through to production and beyond.
After you have created your new title then you will be presented with a screen that has the following fields.
Fields marked with a red Asterix () are mandatory fields.
Full Title: This is the title of project - it does not need to be the final title of the published product as this will be added later.
Sub Title: The subtitle of the project.
Edition: Edition Number
Subject: What is the primary subject that this project relates to. You can find more information on Subjects on the title manager subject page.
Language: The language of the text for the title.
Synopsis: This is a short synopsis of the title, when you actually press the button to put the title into production this will get copied across to the Title Record.
Comments: This is an area for any additional comments.
Author Bio: This is the Author Biography for this title. It will copy across to the main title record when you green light the title.
Requester / Proposer: The person who raised this project. This will auto fill on creation.
Approved / Rejected: This is an overarching status for the project - Has it been approved or rejected?
Source: This is the source of the project. This can be a number of different options. Further details can be found on the source page.
Series: The series that the project may belong to. Further details on Series can be found on the Series Page.
Imprint: The Imprint that the project belongs too.
Publication Season: The publication Season that the title belongs too. The season will have been setup by you. Details on Publications Seasons can be found on the Publications Seasons page.
Publication Date: The Anticipated date of publication.
Project Number: An internal Project number for reference.
MS Pages: The number of pages anticipated to be included the new title.
Target Market: A free text field that you can use to define the target market.
Competition: A free text field that you can use to detail what competition there is.
